Primal
You are not your thoughts. You are not what others expect of you, nor even what you expect of yourself. And you are most certainly not that list of roles you've settled into over the years...especially when those roles were given to you by others. What you are defies explanation. There is no one else quite like you. And when you strip away all the roles, expectations, shoulds, and old patterns, you are left with something primal that does not need external validation; you need no one's permission to bring your own magic alive.
A year ago, we stepped onto the Wilding Path. We released some "shoulds" and opened ourselves up to our Wilder side. Through deep introspection and ritual, we became fully present in the moment and accepted ourselves for who we truly are.
This year, we dig even deeper: step further outside our comfort zones, slough off those layers that confine us, get in touch with our instincts, and immerse ourselves in the primal nature that is present whether we notice it or not. Simmering, humming, swaying, stalking, slithering, gliding, crouching...we will move as an integral part of nature. We will look through Wilder eyes, and shift into that ancient part of ourselves that is in tune with our instinct and intuition. We will remember our own magic and learn to work with it as we once did before others told us that we should hide that part of ourselves away.
This Path is open to everyone; those who attended the Wilder Path in 2025 as well as those new to this Work. Note that as we do this Work, we will spend extended periods of time immersed in nature regardless of weather. You must be prepared to fully commit to getting nature on you.

Liz* is an eclectic witch, an animist, ordained clergy, one of the co-founders of ShadowGrove, and a Shaman for the ShadowGrove Tradition. She has been working full-time to support the Pagan and Spiritual communities since 2004, and she feels blessed beyond belief to get to do this fulfilling work.
Liz* enjoys life to the fullest; often seeking new experiences simply for the joy of it. She finds that looking at new perspectives helps her understand herself and the world around her, and she is always happy to help others see new perspectives, too. Her child-like curiosity is infectious, and she loves helping people find that part of their souls that sing the way hers does.
One of the things that makes Liz*’s soul sing is her creativity. These days, Liz* spends as much of her time as she can in her studio, creating art from clay and other natural materials. Her creativity is an important part of her magical practice; integrating spells, rituals, and energy work into her creative work.
From the time Liz* was a child, she embraced her feral nature, climbing trees, talking to anything and everything that was alive, shouting for joy, and laughing from the depths of her belly. She’s never fully lost touch with that part of herself, and she loves enticing folks with her outrageousness in hopes they, too will find their way back to their Wilder side.
